Eridge Station Parking
Ever since the railway company started charging for parking at Eridge Station, more commuters have taken to parking in the road leading from the A26 down to the station and the Huntsman public house. This has caused difficulties for local residents and drivers of wide vehicles.
The situation is being resolved by the addition of some white "do not park here" lines and by a request from Charles Hendry MP to the railway company to consider what it can do to encourage commuters to use the station car park. One action taken is to close the front entrance of the station and only allow access via the side entrance in the car park.
